VINCI – Voucher in Creative Industries
Vom 1. bis zum 30. September 2012 gibt es für zwanzig Salzburger Klein- und Mittelbetriebe (KMU) die Chance auf je 5.000 Euro Förderung für die Umsetzung von Innovationsprojekten mit Partnern aus der Kreativwirtschaft. VINCI "Vouchers in Creative Industries" ist ein von der EU sowie dem Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft, Familie und Jugend (BMWFJ) finanziertes Projekt und wird von der Austria Wirtschaftsservice GmbH (aws) umgesetzt. VINCI zielt darauf ab den Innovationsprozess in Klein- und Mittelbetrieben durch Einbindung von kreativwirtschaftlichen Leistungen zu fördern und stärkt damit die für Innovationen so relevante brachenübergreifende Zusammenarbeit.
Salzburg ist eine von vier Pilotregionen in der EU, in denen innovative Scheckmodelle für die Vernetzung von KMU aller Branchen mit dem Innovationstreiber Kreativwirtschaft erprobt werden. In den letzten Jahren wurden in Salzburg bereits intensive Bemühungen unternommen, die Bedeutung von Kreativleistungen für innovative Vorhaben aller Branchen aufzuzeigen und die Zusammenarbeit entsprechend zu unterstützen. Als kompetenter Kooperationspartner vor Ort wurde die Innovations- und Techologietransfer Salzburg GmbH (ITG Salzburg) gewählt.
Das Projekt VINCI ist in der von der EU-Kommission, DG Enterprise, initiierten European Creative Industries Alliance (ECIA) eingebettet. Die ECIA fördert Innovation innerhalb der Kreativwirtschaft und den Nutzen der Kreativwirtschaft für andere Wirtschaftssektoren. VINCI unterstützt und stärkt die Zusammenarbeit zwischen Unternehmen der Kreativwirtschaft und anderer Branchen und soll als Best Practice Model für die Entwicklung und Implementierung eines bundesweiten Kreativwirtschaftsschecks dienen.

About VINCI
Salzburg is one of four pilot regions in the EU, which is testing innovative voucher models for interlinking SMEs of all branches with the innovation-driver creative industries. In the past few years intensive efforts have been made to demonstrate the meaning of creative services for innovative projects in all branches and to support such cooperation accordingly. The Innovation- and Technology Transfer Salzburg GmbH (ITG Salzburg) has been chosen as a competent local cooperation-partner. The project VINCI is embedded in the European Creative Industries Alliance (ECIA) , which was initiated by the EU-Commission, DG Enterprise.
ECIA promotes innovation within creative industries and the benefit of creative industries for other economic sectors. VINCI supports and strengthens the cooperation between enterprises of creative industries and other branches and should serve as a best-practice model for the development and the implementation of a nationwide creative industries-voucher.

EUROPEAN CREATIVE INDUSTRIES ALLIANCE
The European Creative Industries Alliance (ECIA) brings together regional and national policy makers and practitioners at European level with the aim of making better use of current and planned initiatives and enhancing transnational cooperation in support of creative industries. The Alliance comprises a Policy Learning Platform and 8 pilot actions in the areas of business support, access to finance and cluster excellence & cooperation. It is expected to mobilise additional public and private funding of €100 Mio in support of creative industries. Altogether, 28 organisations from 12 CIP participating countries form the core of this initiative.
